I first met Apratim Saha personally in Varanasi. It was a long-time dream to join his workshops. I wanted to join his Magical Varanasi workshop in Varanasi, but it was full. So I couldn’t register myself for that workshop, but he personally met me, and we discussed various things about photography. Then I decided I’d join his Bisket Jatra Photo Tour in Nepal.
In April, I fly back to Nepal again from Dubai to join the Bisket Jatra Photo Tour.
What I find very interesting is that Apratim has in-depth knowledge of the entire festival, so he could take his participants in the middle of the ritual at the perfect time so that every participant could get good images. He also helped me with the composition and camera settings to get the best output. After shooting most of the night, he also showed us how to process images, which is also one of his strong areas.
Apratim Saha is a friendly and very professional teacher. If you want to take your photography and editing skills to new levels, you will enjoy and benefit from his photography workshops and tours. I’d highly recommend anyone looking to learn and understand photography to sign up. Apratim also arranged everything from my airport pickup to drop.
I found the sessions to be interesting and motivational. Although I am familiar with photography basics though I found that I learned a lot. I will be joining Apratim Saha again for his next photography tour.
