Incredible Iceland 2018
24th February 2018 to 1st March 2018
Tour Overview
Photographing in Iceland is a special experience. Varied light and conditions are a challenge to any photographer. We take our pride in bringing you to great sights as well to remote and less known places on the right time of day.
EXPOSURE – Travel & Photography presents a 6 days Ice Cave and Northern Lights Photo Tour with internationally renowned photographer Haukur Snorrason & Apratim Saha.
This tour will take you to many sites in west, south and south-east Iceland. We will photograph waterfalls, horses, hot springs, black sand beaches, lava fields, glacier outlets, ice caves, floating ice bergs as well as ice bergs lying in the black sand. Hope for beautiful winter sunrises and sunsets which we will take full advantage of. As well as photographing more known sites, we will also photograph less travelled spots that few people go to. We will keep a look out for the northern lights every night and visit the best ice cave available for photographers; we work with a local guide from the most experienced company in the area of Vatnajökull glacier to assure the best results. Winter in Iceland can be a mixture of all the weather you can think of, even in one day, but our experience is that varied winter weather can also offer the most amazing photographic opportunities and in mild light you can only have this time of year.

Haukur Snorrason
Haukur Snorrason (Hawk) is the best professional photographer, Iceland guide and pilot with 27 years of experience in landscape photography by hiking, driving and flying. Author of two photo-books of Icelandic landscape and nature and has provided photographs for countless landscape calendars.
Haukur (Hawk) says: “Iceland is wonderfully exotic, challenging and tough. The weather is unstable and so is the light. Light changes in every month of the year and the landscape is varied with so many colours and shapes. After 27 years in the field, I am still learning; seeing new forms, new light and angles. I really do enjoy working and travelling with people from all over the world and proudly present my favourite interest to them—namely Iceland and the Icelandic nature.”
